Three Days Grace es una banda canadiense de Alternative Metal formada en Toronto, Ontario en 1997. Los miembros de la banda son Adam Gontier (vocales y música), Brad Walst (bajo), Neil Sanderson (batería), y Barry Stock (guitarra). Originalmente la banda se formó como un quinteto en 1992 bajo el nombre Groundswell; pero cambiaron su nombre por Three Days Grace y se convirtieron en un trío en 1997. El grupo se mudó de Norwood a Toronto y conoció al productor Gavin Brown, anteriormente de la banda Big Sugar. Brown ayudó a producir su auto-titulado primer álbum, Three Days Grace, el cual fue puesto a la venta en 2003; éste llegó al top diez de las listas de álbumes canadienses, el top 100 de las listas de discos de E.E.U.U. Billboard 200, y al número uno en el Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart (. El primer single del álbum, "(I Hate) Everything About You", alcanzó el número uno en Canadá y el top diez en los E.E.U.U.. El segundo single "Just Like You", le dio al grupo un segundo número uno en Canadá. Un tercer single, "Home", también fue puesto a la venta, consiguiendo el número uno en Muchmusic Top 30.
Brown ganó un Juno Award en 2004 (ver Juno Awards of 2004) por su producción en el álbum y por su trabajo en Try Honesty de la banda Billy Talent. Three Days Grace también fue nominado para Mejor Grupo Nuevo De El Año, pero perdió en favor de Billy Talent.
Su segundo álbum, titulado One-X, fue puesto a la venta el 13 de junio de 2006. Posteriormente la banda inició una gira junto a Staind y Hurt
